If your Google Business Profile appeal shows "Not approved", you cannot simply submit the same appeal again; Google allows one appeal per decision. What Google does allow is an additional review, but only after a denial and only with new evidence that was not in the original appeal.

What "Not approved" means

Google reviewed your appeal and decided not to reinstate the profile based on what it saw. That usually means one of two things: the underlying problem is still there, or the evidence did not convince Google that the business is real and eligible at the details on the profile.

Your next step: an additional review with new evidence

Google's appeals page says it may run an additional review only if the reinstatement request was denied, and you can submit new evidence that was not in the original appeal through the local appeals contact form. Treat this as your last, best chance and prepare it properly.

1. Work out what was missing

Go back through the profile against Google's guidelines. Look especially at the name (no keywords), the address (no P.O. boxes, mailboxes or virtual offices; hidden for service-area businesses), duplicates and categories. Our 12 common reasons is a good checklist.

2. Fix anything still wrong

If you find a remaining issue, correct it once before submitting new evidence.

3. Gather genuinely new evidence

Google accepts business registration, a business licence, tax certificates and utility bills. If you only sent one document type before, add others. Make sure the name and address match the profile exactly. Clear photos of permanent signage, or of branded vehicles and equipment, add weight.

4. Explain briefly and factually

State what you have corrected and what the new documents show. Keep it short.

What not to do

  • Do not create a new profile for the same business. Google specifically warns against it.
  • Do not resend the same documents; the additional review is for new evidence.
  • Do not make repeated edits to the profile while you prepare.
This is where expert help pays off. After a denial, the margin for error is small. Trustmark Media reviews the case and prepares the new evidence with you, with no upfront payment: you pay only after reinstatement.

Frequently asked questions

Can I appeal again after my appeal was rejected?

Not through the same appeal. Google allows an additional review after a denial, but only with new evidence submitted through the local appeals contact form.

What counts as new evidence?

Documents or proof that were not in your original appeal, such as a different document type, a corrected document that now matches the profile, or clear photos of signage and premises.

Is a rejected profile gone for good?

Not necessarily. A well-prepared additional review with stronger evidence can still succeed, although Google makes the final decision.
